| The Church
Council exists to make the decisions about which ministries are our
priorities as a congregation. The Finance
Team's function is to provide and manage the financial
resources needed to conduct our ministries. The Trustees are to provide and oversee the
resources of buildings, equipment, insurance and legal coverage
adequate for our ministries. Providing the resource of employed staff
persons necessary to support and grow our ministries is the
responsibility of the Staff/Parish
Relations Committee (SPR). The Committee on Lay Leadership
(often referred to as the Nominations Committee) has the task of
putting the laity of the church into places of volunteer service and
leadership, an essential resource for the work of ministry. Please give your support and appreciation to all of these church leaders, and ask what you can do to help them make Huffman Memorial UMC all that God calls us to be. |
