Handicapped Accessibility

Huffman Memorial United Methodist Church has incorporated the following handicapped accessibility features into its building to make it possible for you to worship with us and be a part of the ongoing life of the church.

Wheel chair accessible doors to the church
- Wheel chair ramp/door located at the main entrance to the church building. This is the entry to the sanctuary and narthex area which allows easy access to worship services and Sunday School classes on the building's main level. The church office is also located just inside this main entrance.
- Ground level entry point on 28th street. An Elevator just down the hall will take you up to the main level for worship.
- All doors to the new Enrichment Center are on ground level. An Elevator gives you access to any part of the Enrichment Center or the church.
A Handicapped Restroom is located on the main level of the church building as well as two new large handicapped accessible restrooms in the Enrichment Center.
Large Print Worship Bulletins and Large Print Hymnals are available every Sunday. You may pick them up at the back of the sanctuary, or simply ask an usher.
Listening devices are available for each worship service.
Reserved Handicapped parking spaces are available directly in front of the main entrance to the church. There are five more handicapped parking spaces near front door of the Enrichment Center.
Handicapped accessible water fountain on both floors of the Enrichment Center.
Covered drop off area. If the weather is bad you can be dropped off under a sheltered area at the main entrance to the Enrichment Center. An Elevator gives you access to any part of the Enrichment Center or the church.
