A church's narthex is, in some ways, like a lobby.
But for many churches like ours, it is a gathering place. You enter the
narthex as you come in the church's front door. From the narthex you
can go into the Church Office, the library, or into a hall leading to
classrooms. But most importantly from the narthex you may enter the
sanctuary where the people of God worship the Lord. People visit and
greet one another before and after the worship service.

One of the main features of our narthex is the Welcome
Center (right). You will always find someone at the Welcome Center
on Sunday mornings to answers questions or to provide you with
information about our church. If you are a visitor, you'll want to stop
by and pick up our latest newsletter and other printed material about
our church. You will also find information our denomination, the Bible,
John Wesley and other topics. You may also sign our guest book at the
Welcome Center.
